Before Brazil bar on K Rd in Auckland City closed down late 2008. I shot a brief photo shoot in their gorgeous upstairs hideaway on the otherwise busy city streets.
Brazil Bar is what some would say an statement in an otherwise dull city scene; @ Brazil you could expect a unique dining experience. Brazil specialises in the freshest and fairest coffee in the land. Brazil also make a Eggs Benni that will wow the pants off any foodie or douche that ever dared to take a whiff!
You can choose to sit with a paper on the busy city street watching the hustle n bustle of K Rd's diverse neighborhood. Or you can pleasantly skip on up the mezzanine to sip on a huge bowl of coffee. A great retreat if u just needed to sneak out of the office, to soothe that three-thirtyitis with a pinball showdown or a wee spacies fix. Brazil is somewhere that had something for everybody. Cash only bar; but well worth the Que. at the ATM.
Brazil a space of beauty, energy and amazing personalities.

Early 2008 I Entered the BJBall paper awards, The brief was to best advertise a new range of papers that were made of sugar cane. The choice of stock and printing techniques play with the layout and effects you can make with BJball paper.

My name is Juliana van Kampen, I'm a Graphic Designer. I live in Auckland City, New Zealand. I'm originally from Wellington. I'm a multicultural mix of Maori, Pacific Islander, European and Croatian decent.
I have been studying for 5years @ Auckland University of Technology. I studied originally in Visual arts and then quickly fell in love with the fast pace and highly finished quality of Graphic Design. I am currently in my last semester of my final year of my bachelors degree in Graphic design.
Honestly I can not think of a more exciting and vibrant place to be...This blog is an ongoing thread that encapsulates everything. Broken, blue, beautiful or new. Everything I see and everything I think should be said or seen lives in this blog.
I think of my blog; not as a blog but, as my spirit and essence of what is happening in my life.
I live a very fast ,fun and bright life filled with exciting friends and places you get to see. I look forward to sharing my journey with you!
